A brand of somewhat humble beginnings, Eduardo & Adele Fendi opened their first small handbag shop in Rome in 1925. In due time each of their five daughters joined the family business. In 1965 Karl Lagerfeld was hired as Creative Director. He designed the famous double-“F” logo which to this day remains an iconic status symbol.
